Nestled in scenic Robbinsdale, Minnesota, Midwestern Filmworks LLP represents the collective work of Michael Tabor and his talented network of collaborators.

Michael has been working in the Twin Cities film industry since 1990 and currently works as a freelance Executive Producer and Line Producer of commercial, corporate and still productions. He began his career as a Production Assistant, also logging time in the Sound, Art and Locations departments. He has worked on many feature films shot in Minnesota including The Bridge, Drop Dead Fred, Dario Argento’s Trauma, Iron Will, The Keys and Untamed Heart. He is a two-time recipient of the DL Mabery Award for his work producing Bill’s Gun Shop & Not A Nickel’s Worth Of Doubt.

He has been serving on the Minnesota Association of Independent Commercial Producer’s Board since 2009, and also serves on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Film Board. He was also a co-creator and mentor for the IFP MN Fresh Filmmaker Production Grant program.

He lives in Robbinsdale with his wife Linda and his two dogs, Grace & Ginger. He enjoys cooking, yoga, old movies, fine wine and loud rock & roll on vinyl.
